At one point, sparkling water was one of the most expensive and wasteful food products we were purchasing. Shipping the water from the canning facility is a major cost. The environmental cost of the trucks and fuel is in my opinion even worse. Then there are the aluminum cans: we were drinking a couple cans a day, two people, that’s 28 cans a week! It adds up so quickly and our recycling bin was filling up quickly. There has got to be a better way! Extra Ranty Edition! 🕹️ How Not To Fix Your Switch 2 The state of Washington is adding right to repair legislation. While most people may not be fixing their *own* phones, this allows things like repair shops to at least exist and hopefully flourish. Resistance The ‘bullshit’ continues with power grabs and lies with Harvard being told they can’t enroll international students. Harvard isn’t bending over and have received a temporary restraining order. Heather Cox Richardson highlights much of the bullshit in the current bill being passed by the house, including stratospheric budget increases to ICE, tax cuts for the rich, and medicare reduction.
