Here I am in Astoria, or as I prefer to call it, “The home of The Goonies”. They love their seafood btw:
I was supposed to be on the road right now, but I’m having some mechanical trouble.
My rear wheel was bent in transit. I went to Bikes and Beyond and they trued my wheel. I had a couple sticky links which I was able to fix by working them laterally (needlenose pliers helped).
Astoria is very picturesque and quaint. It’s sunny and warm right now, but as soon as I said that the clouds rolled in! Yesterday we went to a seafood and wine festival and checked out the local flair. Paola made friends with a woman from Washington and she gave her a necklace!! It was a really fun time!
