The elevation here is 9200′, and the high today was 46. I wonder what this place is like in winter.
Today was rather uneventful. Woke up, biked to Silverthorne. Bought some tubes at the bike shop. Fixed my tent pole at an outdoor store. Big thanks to Wilderness Sports for giving me an old piece of tent pole!
I had some coffee and decided to chance an afternoon ride over to Breckenridge. As soon as I hit the road it started pouring. Completely drenching. I cut it short over to Frisco and hit the hotel. Tomorrow’s the big climb over Hoosier pass.
I’ll probably get better weather over the pass, but regardless I need to start biking way earlier. Up til now I could bike until 8pm without issue. Now I’ve got a 3pm curfew imposed by wind and/or rain. Time to get some sleep.

Who is that guy with the beard? One of you friends? Great pics! You are giving Annmarie and Marion a lot of compition in photography. I am planning to get Marion to make frames and get some of the better pics he took with the terrific camera that was stolen and Annmarie is interested in getting some of her “portfolio” framed. I am looking to go to craft and art shows to barker them. One of my favorit pastimes is being in a booth at a craft/art/fair I love talking to people and being busy. i can add your’s to this venture. Maybe even sell your book. Stay safe Love MOM xxxoooxxx
haha, I could actually see you doing that, if only you could somehow find the time. I shall give Ann a run for her money, but I can only do so much with my iPhone!
