While I haven’t read it, I found out about a really weird book called The End Of History and The Last Man which theorizes that liberal democracy is the ‘final form’ of human government. I call this ‘weird’ because some philosophy or concepts get more focus not because they are any more true or likely, but because they are extreme and not disprovable. Other examples would be religions, transhumanism or the dark forest.
Also philosophers have a tendency to have interesting deaths.

Bikes 🚴
This cargo bike (bakfiets or bucket bike) that’s also a normal bike is a really cool concept. I could see this taking off, but at the same time, I worry that sometimes you get something that isn’t as good as either.
In the City of London(that’s a capital C, the borough of The City inside the larger city of London) there are now more bikes than cars. Having a borough the name of the city sure provides some good clickbait headlines.

Al Gore – Why Climate Realists are Wrong is a great video from Al, and he has still got it. I was impressed by his impassioned plea. I was also a bit skeptical about climate realists, were these actual people or groups, or was Al creating a scapegoat to rally against? Sure enough, there are climate realist shills, which I won’t be linking to.

The Gouach battery system is a very cool repairable battery from a French company that I’ve been waiting to leave the ‘kickstarter promise’ phase to ‘actually purchasable’ phase. After asking a couple questions of the CEO, I went to purchase it and it was out of stock suddenly. The CEO confirmed that the tariffs are insane and they had to stop shipping to the US. But hey, relax guy.
