Hey everyone! Enemy Hideout is back from the dead! I guess an update is in order, since it has been a while. 🙂 I guess there’s a lot of news to go over. So Enemy Hideout was initially created with the intention of making video games. I wanted to make a lot of games, and grow it into a studio in Tucson, AZ, and conquer the world. With such lofty endeavors, it doesn’t always work out. Perhaps someday I will go into the details more. It might’ve worked out, who knows?
Suffice it to say, I got a job opportunity I couldn’t refuse, and ended up heading over to Denver, Colorado. I now work on…certain super secret projects with the talented ninjas at Dire Wolf Digital. So still making really fun games, and hey if you want to work with me, you should go apply.
So where does that leave this site? I effectively abandoned it, and had a couple hosting issues. It seems hackers are not effected by sharks with lasers. I decided to move hosts to my current host and set up the site anew. I have a backup of the old site, but consider this version 2.0. A ‘pivot’ if you will. A pivot without direction, but I hope the direction will clear up as I provide more content to the site.
Where does this leave Enemy Hideout the ‘game studio’? Well, as of today I have re-released Monster Words as a FREE game for all.
It is now back in the app store. Apparently I needed to accept a contract and it was taken down. So go download it and enjoy a couple goofy levels. Beyond this, there will most likely never be another game from Enemy Hideout. I’m currently fully employed, and don’t have the time for it. But hey, never say never!
Lastly a big thanks to Tim C for giving me the nudge necessary to get this site back up and running! It feels good to get it back up, and who knows what I’ll do with it!
